Viennese Modernism 2018
The Wiener Moderne or Viennese Modern Age is a term describing the culture of Vienna in the period between approximately 1890 and 1910. It refers especially to the development of modernism in the Austrian capital and its effect on the spheres of philosophy, literature, music, art, design and architecture.
Viennese Modernism 2018 is a digital art gallery, and communication hub for the modernist movement, the site tells the stories of four key artists: Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt, Koloman Moser, and Otto Wagner. It’s also home to visually striking articles illuminating Vienna’s pioneering fashion and gay scenes of the era.
